I have 79 students (according to official records of what I need to raise... but I get and lose students weekly because our location is so transient).
My goal to have all students paid was $1185. At the close of books today, my team had $430 in the books.
In order to secure our spot, my team needs to have raised 70% of that goal, which is $830. Since the close of books today, here is the money that has been raised:
$15 - student brought in a check $3 - an already paid student wanted to help make this happen $75 - former co-worker $100 - a cousin of mine $200 - another cousin of mine $11 - college friend $10 - current co-worker
A few of these transactions have unfortunately been reduced slightly because paypal has a transaction fee that appears to be around $2. I'll cover that part no problem :)
Tonight, YOU have helped me earn $414! THIS means we have met the minimum to secure our spot at Fernbank, and only have 30% left to raise. Tomorrow, I'll update what students brought in and how much we have left to make this trip a reality.
Remember, all extra donations beyond the cost of the trip will go DIRECTLY to my students for classroom activities.
